Vishal Dembla is general manager of Turner’s Southeast Asia business. He has full commercial and operational responsibility for all of Turner’s networks, digital and media services across the region including Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and Indochina.
Based in Singapore, Mr. Dembla is charged with managing and growing Turner’s brand portfolio and business lines, across linear and non-linear entertainment. In this capacity, he has been instrumental in driving Turner’s foray into Asian content and is leading product development in several markets for direct-to-consumer platforms.
He also leads a team responsible for the network distribution of the business in Southeast Asia – focusing on further expanding the reach of brands including CNN International, Warner TV, truTV, Oh!K, Cartoon Network and Boomerang in Southeast Asia.
Prior to joining Turner, Mr. Dembla worked in corporate and management roles across the pay-TV and motion-picture industries in India. He has an MBA from INSEAD graduate business school.
